Based on the beloved children’s book series, this vibrant and hilarious musical adventure follows the unforgettable antics of that irrepressible first-grader, Junie B., and her quirky, lovable friends through the ups and downs of elementary school. With catchy tunes, an infectious energy, and a heartwarming message, this production will leave young and old with smiles on their faces and an appreciation for the joys of growing up.

Performances are FREE, but reservations are required.

Meet the Cast

  • Maya is thrilled to be returning to the Weston Theater Company after being seen as Sally Brown in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown and Ensemble in Singin’ in the Rain last summer! She is a recent graduate from CAP21/Molloy University where she earned her BFA in Theatre Arts. Some of her favorite recent credits include: Othello (Cassio), Sweet Charity (Rosie), Anything Goes (Chastity). She would like to thank her teachers and friends for their endless support, and most of all her parents for encouraging her to follow her dreams!! @maya.labbe

  • Aidan recently graduated with a B.F.A from Molloy University/CAP21, and is so excited to be working at the Weston for a second time! Recent credits include YAGM Charlie Brown (Charlie), Sweet Charity (Ens, u/s Vittorio), and Carrie (Dance Cpt, u/s Billy). Enjoy the show!

  • Mayumi Rhone (they/them) is a recent graduate of Pace University where they earned their BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Commercial Dance. They were most recently seen on stage as The Witch in Big Fish at Pace University, in Trans Voices Cabaret, and in A Night Of Color 2024 at Pace, where they made their choreographic debut! Mayumi is thrilled to be joining the Weston Theater Company this summer and wants to send love to their amazing family and friends. ig: @mayumi_rhone

  • Nicky Redd (He/They) is originally from San Diego, California and is ecstatic to be part of Weston’s 88th season! They have just graduated from MMC with a BFA in Musical Theatre. His most favorite credits include Benji in Tomorrow The Island Dies (Ryan Scott Oliver), Freddy in Carrie (MMC) Matt in Fugitive Songs (MMC) Florizel in The Winters Tale Juke Box(NYU Steinhardt) and Anthony in Ghosts in a Machine (La Jolla Playhouse) . He would like to thank his family for all the love and the amazing team at Weston for this opportunity!

  • Isa Sánchez (Lucille) is over the moon to be spending the summer with Weston in beautiful Vermont! Regional Credits: Rent (Umbrella Stage Company), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Firebird Pops), Romeo & Juliet (Samuel-Lancaster Productions). Boston Conservatory graduate.   • Evan Gibley (he/him) is thrilled to be on the road with Junie B. and the rest of her hilarious friends! Favorite past credits include Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Andy (Audrey) in Shaina Taub's As You Like It, and Barfee in 25th Annual... Spelling Bee. Thank you to Kate, Tommy, Nathan, and the rest of the team for bringing this joyous musical to life! He would like to also send his love to his wonderful family in Colorado, whom he dedicates this performance to, and his incredible best friend Gabrielle. I love you all so very much.
