Urgent, ardent, and alive with possibility, this groundbreaking rock musical reveals what it means to love fiercely in uncertain times. Set in New York City’s East Village at the height of the AIDS crisis, Rent tells the story of a group of friends navigating love and loss, creativity and chosen family.
Based on Puccini's La Boheme, Rent transforms the timeless power and resonance of that classic story into something immediate, electric, and utterly of the moment.
Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and celebrating its 30th Anniversary, Rent has become a pop culture phenomenon – exuberant and passionate, beautiful and joyous!
RENT is presented through special arrangement with Musical Theatre International (MTI).
All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com
