A Community Reading of
A Christmas Carol
Join us for a festive and heartwarming community reading of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
Directed by Tom Costello and reimagined for Weston by Sierra Hitchcock and Charlie Hitchcock, the lively retelling reimagines the local read-aloud tradition and features beloved Weston artists, including: Barbara Lloyd (PIPPIN, OUR TOWN), Susan Haefner (WHITE CHRISTMAS, FUN HOME), David Bonanno (AN ILIAD, THE WOMAN IN BLACK), and Willy Appelman (OUR TOWN. With a little audience participation and joyful live music, this 60-minute event brings the language, heart, and tradition of Dickens’ classic to life.
